Terms and Conditions

1. By application for and/or participation in the guided tour, you are deemed to have read and agreed with these terms and conditions.
2. Application for School Guided Tour must be made 2 months in advance before the proposed date of visit.
3. Application for Self-Guided School Tour must be made 15 working days in advance before the proposed date of visit.
4. Successful booking confirmation will be sent to the teachers in charge by email within 10 working days upon receiving the application. Please present the email for admission and guided tour registration on the date of visit.
5. Should the school be late for 30 minutes or more, the guided tour will be cancelled and the school will visit Tai Kwun on its own.
6. To protect the privacy of docents and other participants, unauthorised photography, video and audio recording are not encouraged during the tours.
7. Places are limited and on first-come-first-served basis.
8. Tai Kwun reserves the right to make final decision of the arrangement.
9. According to the Bye-laws, all persons who enter Tai Kwun will be deemed to have granted its approval to Tai Kwun undertaking the following activities without making any payment or notification to any such persons:
   • taking photographs, making a video or cinematograph recording and/or using any sound or image recording equipment at any place within Tai Kwun; and
   • reproducing the image and/or voice of any person who enters Tai Kwun and using the same for any purposes as Tai Kwun shall think fit.

Adverse Weather Special Arrangement

1. If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above or Red or Black Rainstorm Signal is still hoisted at 06:30, visits arranged in the morning session at 09:30 will be cancelled.
2. If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above or Red or Black Rainstorm Signal is still hoisted at 12:00, visits arranged in the afternoon session at 15:00 will be cancelled.
3. If the visit is cancelled due to inclement weather, Tai Kwun will subject to its practicability reschedule the visit to another date and time.
