Observing nature's cycles and the importance of rituals, trust & confusion includes not only the rhythms of day and night in the exhibition space but also special presentations and releases at each full moon—when the tides are the deepest and the forest the nosiest.
On the occasion of the Strawberry full moon on 24 June, trust & confusion will have a special presentation with its exhibiting artist. The artist and composer Pan Daijing (b. Guiyang, China, 1991; lives in Berlin) extends her practice in trust & confusion—where her work installed at the spiral staircase leading up to the exhibition lures visitors on a sonic journey based on the act of voicing—with a special listening session. This event forges an experiential ambience rich with sonic tension; the work is part of Pan’s project that transforms and extends into other spaces and durations, with the finale presentation in the form of a performance-exhibition later this year.
