Campo Marzio will host on 4 November the opening vernissage "Fellini and il paparazzo", dedicated to the hundredth anniversary of the birth of the famous director, with the film "La Dolce Vita" will be projected.
The director Federico Fellini hails from the region of Romagna. His films are only a milestone of Italian culture but also a point of reference for cinema around the world. Fellini is a visionary poet who is sometimes nostalgic and even a tad bitter, with an imagination always suspended between dream and reality.
Like Fellini, Campo Marzio, the flagship of Made in Italy design, is always sensitive and attentive to the values of art, culture and traditions.
About the film: "La Dolce Vita", a comedy from 1960, was written and directed by Federico Fellini and starred Marcello Mastroianni, Anita Ekberg and Anouk Aimée. The storyline is divided into seven significant episodes: if the evenings of each episode were joined with the mornings of the respective nights, they would form seven consecutive days.
The film will be projected at Laundry Steps in Tai Kwun. The vernissage of the photographic exhibition will be held inside the Campo Marzio flagship store. The exhibition is dedicated to Tazio Secchiaroli, the first 'paparazzo' in history who illustrated Fellini and his world with his photographs.
Campo Marzio will produce iconic limited-edition bag, of only 100 numbered pieces: the double-face Tote, rigorously Made in Italy, and made of high-quality Italian leather. The new Spring collection will be previewed to the public in Spring/Summer 2021.
