Booked: Hong Kong Art Book Fair is now welcoming applications from local, regional, and international art publishers and bookmakers for its second annual art book fair at Tai Kwun Contemporary, Hong Kong.

Hong Kong’s premier art book fair takes place from 17 to 19 January 2020, with a preview on Thursday 16 January. Welcoming over 70 participants in the upcoming edition, the fair features art and artists’ books, photobooks, critical and theoretical as well as experimental writing, art magazines, zines, related ephemera and more, as well as a series of public programmes including talks, performances, displays, workshops and special projects.

Booked: underscores Tai Kwun Contemporary’s dedication to presenting contemporary art programmes in support of the continually expanding cultural ecology in Hong Kong. This includes providing a platform for creative practitioners and publishers who are invested in books as a medium of artistic and intellectual expression to share their work. It also provides an opportunity for public audiences to enjoy and engage with these materials as an important resource for learning and research.
