Words from “Landlord”

I never thought of having a career in theatre or even regarding it as a job. For me what it has felt like is a crazy adventure, a journey and a playful exploration. Sometimes it has made perfect sense and other times has made no sense at all. Just like life. And so as the Beatles sang ‘When I'm 64’.I thought in my 64th year I would tell the story of my life. A life through which I have met, worked with and learned from remarkable people. From stars to street children. from captains of industries to captains of ships. Across 74 countries and teaching 120,000 people. Inventing, improvising, dreaming, surviving and hopefully celebrating the mad world we live in. I hope my story might reflect some of your stories at this extraordinary moment in history.
