Founded in 2001, the Hong Kong International Literary Festival connects audiences to established and emerging writers from around the world every November. For the upcoming 2018 festival, bestselling writers including Cheryl Strayed, Irvine Welsh, Susie Orbach, Ma Jian and Meg Wolitzer will anchor an exciting programme of discussions, workshops, debates and book signings, which will touch on the themes of LGBTQ issues, travel narratives, science fiction and history. Live storytelling and poetry readings will round out the rich offerings, making the festival a true celebration of ideas and literary arts.

Ticket price varies for each event. Some events offer free entry. Students get 50% off.
